Our Doctors
Dr. Richard Malek
I enjoy transforming smiles, whether it is a minor intervention or a complete smile makeover. One of my favorite quotes is from the movie Annie: “You’re never fully dressed without a smile.”
I grew up in Brooklyn, NY before moving to New Jersey for high school and college. I received a Bachelor of Science in psychology and a Bachelor of Arts in biology from Rutgers University. My interest in dentistry came from my early interest in the biological sciences and my desire to work with my hands. I enjoy learning new techniques and acquiring the latest technologies to best serve my patients.
I obtained my dental degree from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey. After dental school, I joined the U.S. Air Force. There, I reached the rank of captain and completed an advanced education in general dentistry residency at Bolling Air Force Base in Washington DC. During my three years of active duty, I received extensive training in oral surgery and forensic dentistry.
After my Air Force years, I started the Harmony Dental Group with Dr. Faber from scratch, with the belief that if you build a clean and modern facility and treat people the way you would want to be treated, then success would be inevitable.
I am a current resident of Southport, CT. In my spare time, I enjoy bike riding with my wife Diana and my two kids. My other hobbies and interests include playing racquetball, traveling, and watching my kids play sports.
Dr. Robert Limb
Next to being a parent, I feel that pediatric dentistry is the most rewarding thing that I do. It truly gives me a great sense of satisfaction to share the feeling of accomplishment that our young patients feel after they get through a dental appointment. I believe that our children are individuals that require a little extra care and patience especially when it comes to dental care and understand the feelings that children have towards going to the dentist. I work towards giving them a comfortable experience and always take into consideration each child’s individual needs from the first time that I meet with them.
I grew up in Queens and Long Island, NY and have always had an interest in dentistry since my own childhood dental visits. My motivation to work with children had stemmed from my mother, a board certified pediatrician who had encouraged me to combine my interests and pursue a career as a pediatric dentist. I attended the Tufts University of Dental Medicine in Boston, MA for my dental degree and then the University of Medicine and Dentistry of NJ (now known as Rutgers Dental School) to obtain post-graduate specialty training in pediatric dentistry. I am a board certified pediatric dentist by the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry and an active member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry and the American Dental Association.
I reside in Rye Brook, NY with my wife Wendy and my two daughters, Alexa and Claire. In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my family, exercising, and following my daughter’s musical interests such as her involvement with the Norwalk Youth Symphony and Greater Westchester Youth Orchestra.
I am happy to be a part of Harmony Dental Group and look forward to using my experience and knowledge in giving your child the most positive and comfortable dental experience that I can.
Dr. Suzanne Markman
My passion for dentistry started at Amherst College where I obtained my Bachelor of Arts degree and majored in premedical sciences and French. While at Amherst, I had the opportunity to participate in several medical internship programs. During one of my internships, I worked with a dentist who taught me about the importance of oral health and how transforming a smile could transform a patient's life. The experience inspired me to apply to dental school.
I earned the Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from New York University College of Dentistry (NYUCD) in 2010 and then completed residency at Jacobi Medical Center. I am a member of the American Dental Association (ADA) and Connecticut State Dental Association. I continue to learn and stay current with the latest dental procedures and technology to provide the best care for my patients.
I was born and raised in Jamaica W.I. and Florida. I reside in Norwalk, CT with my husband Claudio and my two sons, Daniel and Julian. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family, cooking, traveling, new foods, and learning about different cultures.
